Parents
At Melling St Wilfrid CE Primary School, we believe that children benefit most from education and care when we work together in partnership with our parents and families. We therefore work very closely with our parents and families to provide personalised provision for our pupils.
We communicate with our parents on a daily basis and provide a monthly newsletter to keep families updated on news, developments and future events.
Curriculum letters are also sent to each family at the start of each term, detailing the aspects of learning that each child will undertake, and how families might support that learning at home. We invite parents and carers to offer their support at school through our PTA.
The governing body will seek parents who are willing to serve as members of the school governing body. These will be elected by other parents and carers.
